Di tulisan yang quite long (tapi I promise) sangat nyaman buat dibaca ini, Iโll share more soal what The Slow Leaders Academy is about saat ini & how it might be valuable for you!
(Saat ini: Soalnya what the academy offering now is a constant evolution, and itโll continue to evolve. Tapi, the first principles remain consistent: Itโs a school for people managers that finally make sense.)

#1 Apa itu The Slow Leaders Academy?
#1 Sedikit Mundur
Back in April 2025, I finished writing a new book yang judulnya โThe Slow Leadershipโ.
This book adalah hasil kontemplasi years of my experimentation and gagal-gagalan jadi people manager, yang sebelumnya worked as an individual contributor.
Semua pembelajaran ini datangnya dari real experience of my leading multiple nationalities and generations of people in the Marketing & Creative department, both di companies based di Indo and also di luar Indo (Malaysia).
So everything I wrote = everything I did (Access The Book Here)
Buku ini tuh something yang I wish someone shared with me dulu waktu awal jadi people manager.
Buku ini juga yang sekarang I always share ke orang-orang yang interested to be or mau memperdalam ilmu people management and human leadership.
This book is the foundation dan awal mula lahirnya The Slow Leaders Academy ๐.
#2 Maju ke Sekarang
After the book launched, ada banyak very-very interesting interaction, discussion, and projects I did with many different kinds of smart people.
Contohnya: Together with the team from RWDGG and Risocycle, kita launched The Slow Leadership Pocket Book (Riso Print). Talked about The Slow Leadership ideas di some podcasts. Gave some talks about this topic. And masih banyak lagi.
With this trus mikir, kayanya perlu ada โrumahโ untuk bisa jadi tempat buat different initiatives and also possible collaborations in the future.
Maka dari itu Jul 2025 lahirlah The Slow Leaders Academy.
With a very ambitious and also strong values and beliefs untuk menjadi: โA school for people managers that finally makes sense.โ
โMake senseโ soalnya every approach and framework that I share and guide people through is based on a real situation, dealing with real human beings.
#2 The Problem The Slow Leaders Academy is Solving Now?
As of today (June 2026), there are 2 core problems yang TSLA coba untuk solve by working closely with brands: #1 People & #2 Business.
#1 People: Soalnya in many companies and organizations with different levels of maturity, problem-nya mirip-mirip: Banyak orang-orang yang awalnya individual contributor, diangkat jadi people manager and ga dikasih enough and easy-to-follow bekal sebelum mereka menjadi people manager.
So my role di sini adalah untuk mengerti kebutuhan para people managers (or yang akan menjadi), understand the current challenges in the organization or team, and make a structured and extremely practical learning system buat team members-nya.
#2 Business: Kenapa tiba-tiba bisnis? Ini soalnya my professional work dari awal emang di bagian content, product marketing, branding yang closely connected to sales. Jadi I have a technical understanding on how brands can be more strategic waktu mikirin strategi marketing branding yang highly impactful to sales. My expertise is more into B2B or services type of business.
So my role di sini adalah untuk mengerti current sales process, the marketing strategy we are doing, and what we can do better biar bisa jualan lebih mantep!
#4 In What Way The Slow Leaders Academy Solve The Problems Above?
Again, as per today (June 2026) formatnya ada dua: #1 Active Growth Partner & #2 Mentor & Trainer
#1 Active People and Business Growth Partner
Over the past few months starting Q4 2025, Iโve been helping a few great founders and their team members: StickEarn Group, Manusa, and The Nice Club.
Untuk area People Growth Partner, Iโm working closely with the founders and the People and Culture Team.
Untuk area Business Growth Partner, Iโm working closely bareng beberapa teams (tergantung perusahaannya): marketing, design, product & tech, market research, and sales.
As an active growth partner, Iโm not just there to give advice. Tapi beneran work closely with the people to make things happen ๐ช
Jadi my role here adalah menjadi jembatan antara Business Owners with Team Members di lapangan. So I need to be able untuk think strategically about the business strategy, while agile and technical enough to support and work bareng sama tim di lapangan on the execution level.
Typically the working engagement is a long-term engagement, at least 1 year.
#2 Mentor & Trainer
If above itu long term, as mentor or trainer, biasanya ini lebih short term.
So for this I often work closely with Learning & Development teams untuk bisa understand the training needs and to design learning materials buat team yang lagi mau dibantu.
Topic buat mentoring and training ini still the same: People Management & Content & Product Marketing (Focusing on B2B and Services).
Few companies that Iโve been lucky enough to help and collaborate with here: Mamikos, PT PP, BPKP, Tiket, and many more.
#5 What Can We Do To Collaborate?
Karena The Slow Leaders Academy juga masih in the stage of learning and growing, Iโm more than happy buat bisa collaborate especially buat bisa bikin more and more people jadi people managers yang punya โahliโ and โhatiโ.
