Panduan Dasar Bekerja

Beberapa hal yang cukup membantu sepanjang perjalanan kerja:

  1. Deliver the work yang dikasih ke kita beyond what is asked, not to impress anyone but to stress test our own capabilities.

  2. Be a high quality curious person by asking a lot of questions only after we do the fundamental and basic research on the topic.

  3. Work within the deadline given and agreed. Kabarin kalau kita butuh extra time, jangan missing in action.

  4. Proactively communicate progress, problems, and plans. Tulis dan kirim via communication channel yang dipakai seperti email, Slack, Teams, WA, dan yang lain.

  5. Learn how to build a system to nurture our own continuous learning mentality.

  6. Read, watch, listen. Learn and relearn every single day.

  7. Ternyata bisa untuk menjadi humble dan teachable while still being confident.

  8. Be generous with sharing experience and knowledge. Jangan pelit.

  9. Learn how to speak and write in a structured and effective manner. Everyone is busy.

  10. Belajar negosiasi. Latihan bertanya: “What is in it for them to do what I am asking”.

  11. Belajar untuk bisa praise other people publicly and criticize privately.

  12. Make things every day. Write, draw, craft, code, etc.

  13. Belajar sabar. Play the long game to build strong relationships with people and stack up life skills.

  14. Learn to be comfortable spending time alone and also with other people. Kita butuh dua duanya.

  15. Belajar cara berinteraksi dengan manusia dengan sewajarnya. Not too loud and not too quiet.

  16. Be direct and be kind. Both are equally important and possible to do

  17. Find and solve interesting problems. Even if it is beyond our roles and responsibilities
